Neurocare Foundation Nepal, in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (AMCHAM Nepal), conducted a learning session on “Brain Longevity: Preventing Stroke & Protecting Your Mind” at MetLife Nepal.
The session was led by Dr. Prasanna Karki, MD, PhD, FNIR, Neurosurgeon and Neurointerventionist, and focused on stroke prevention, early recognition of stroke symptoms, brain health, and lifestyle factors that affect long-term neurological wellbeing.
Key topics included recognizing stroke using BE FAST, controlling risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol, smoking, vaping, stress, poor sleep, and sedentary lifestyle, and adopting preventive habits to protect brain health.
Neurocare Foundation Nepal is grateful to MetLife Nepal for the opportunity to share this important message with their associates and for supporting preventive health education in the workplace.
Every second counts. Protect your brain. Protect your future.
